[ boothill's definitely come to the same conclusion about aventurine. as much as aventurine may not like it, there's also a feeling of kinship now given what they've both been through—a protectiveness that will keep him from making any real threats on aventurine's life from now on. (unless he fucks up that badly somehow.)
