Mm. The whole wish thing is rather tempting. Someone desperate enough may be willing to stake their life on it.

It's been peaceful so far, but I have feeling that's temporary. Once this cult starts getting serious, people will think more seriously about tying their lives with someone else.

You think they'd do something to make it worth the risk? I'm not so sure. I would not be delighted to find out I'd died because I happened to get someone very good at getting themselves killed.
