We'd had a couple of encounters before, but it was mostly him trying to shake me off... I suppose someone could have seen that and gotten strange ideas in their head.
That sounds about right. [fondly, like "cloud, you bitch."] But that's true, too. This village isn't very big and with so many of us it can be really easy to miss when someone's watching closer than we think. No different than what happened to Cloud and Pickles, or even Karlach and Izutsumi. The more noticeable you are, the more likely people might think you'd be a good test of their power.
There's at least twenty individual ones, and so far we've seen two for sure. As more people see the results of other powers, other people are going to start using theirs, I'm sure. So the best we can do is keep talking to each other and find out if other people are being affected less...publicly.

I understand why people are using them. We won't know how our powers work until we use them for the first time. But a little thought might help so we aren't making each other more miserable than people already are. I'd rather not divide us before we have a chance to unite us either. Especially since some people might see that as a reason for revenge.
