[ There's some relief at seeing her awake and speaking, but his concern only grows when he notices how pale she is and the way she stares off at something over his shoulder. He doesn't bother looking behind him, he knows there's nothing there. ]

[ He'll wander in, gaze studying the cozy room before it settles on the chair, and he picks it up to bring it a bit closer to where Aerith is in bed. ]
When have I ever said no to you? [a blip of fondness. emotionsharing is godawful because now not only do people have to hear how much she likes them they have to feel it, too.] I wouldn't call it an intrusion anyway.

...is it weird if I say it sort of feels like I'm still not really here? Like...whatever just happened wasn't entirely something that happened to this me.
[ He smiles, just as fondly, though it's strained and doesn't last for very long as he watches her struggle. It's a difficult watch, but he's quiet as he waits, wanting to let her do as she wants.
He glances down at the choker around her neck, a light sense of admiring, and then he's returning his attention to the conversation with a shake of his head. ]
I think I understand what you mean. Your sense of timing and self were warped while there, and it's disorienting. How long did it seem like you were at the place you disappeared to?
Yeah, that's exactly it. It was a life I was familiar with, but not because it's mine. It just felt like mine when I was there...we all thought we'd lived there our whole lives, but the events we went through lasted three days. [there's a pause.] They might've gone longer if there was anyone left after that though. But I don't know what happened after a certain point. I can only guess.
